    Just a follow-up on the 4 disc Flaming Lips album mentioned on the show. The name of the album is ZAIREEKA. I believe it was released in 1997. Here is a Rolling Stone review on it as well as another link that explains what exactly this mysterious album is.

    I was gonna tell about Zaireeka, but Olyester beat me to it so I wanted to say that up until 2 or 3 months ago, Clear Channel owned the commercial space of Indie103.1 but now they are totally independent and is why you hear their lame commercials 100 times an hour.
    Good show, keep it up. Lee the dork is my hero. Nice ditty at the end..

    it’s pronounced “soof-yan” as far as i know.

    and if you haven’t heard illinoise, it’s friggin great. if suspiciously similar to the MI album…

    (and he’s only done MI and IL, although he took a break in between to record Seven Swans, which is Christian to the core, although beautiful as well)
